Nuevo Vallarta fishing report August

Hola from Nuevo Vallarta where the August fishing continues to be amazing. We’re coming up on our summertime fishing here in Mexico. The fishing is as hot as the weather. My captains have been reporting inshore fishing is incredible. Water temperatures have been cooler than normal, abundant bait and with the COVID-19 there are fewer boats out on the water. This is increasing our fishing hookups and good size fish. If fishing this summer in Mexico in your vacation plans then Nuevo Vallarta is where you need to be.

Inshore fishing has also been producing many yellowtails we had six fish on at the same time the other day. There have also been some yellowfin tuna over by a Yalapa for the 6-hour bay fishing trips. The roosterfish have been tearing up the water and are here in good numbers. With these kinds of fishing conditions in Nuevo Vallarta the success rate of great days has been fantastic. Before coming down to Nuevo Vallarta shoot us a quick email so we can give you the latest conditions and fishing report.

Several of our offshore captains are catching sailfish in good numbers. The mahi-mahi I’ve been hitting offshore and inshore with incredible numbers. With these kinds of conditions, you can expect numerous hook up either inshore or offshore. You’re coming down and looking for a big marlin the offshore action is where you need to be. Starting to see some of the really big ones here. The black marlin is here and still seeing the blue marlin mixed in with these huge fish.

The marlin is ranging from 250 all the way up to 750 lbs. The water temperature is holding around 80 degrees. This is ideal for all kinds of pelagic fish.

Most of these gigantic Marlin are feeding on live bait. We are also having good luck on our black Bart lures and skipping baits. The offshore action has been so good we’re seeing numerous hookups in one day. Here in Nuevo Vallarta fishing we have just about to put the coronavirus behind us and can start concentrating 100% on fishing. Last month was slow here There weren’t very many people coming, but this month of June has started off with a blast. The virus is just about gone from Nuevo Vallarta and still, not many cases reported. In many places having the same results there, we are more people here for summer fishing.

Let me start off with the Bay fishing here in the Nuevo Vallarta. The summertime fishing here in the bay can’t be beaten. One of the very best places anywhere in the world for fish. With all the bait in warmer water temperatures and the abundance of fish in the bay. It is going to be a fantastic summer. We have the yellowtail, skipjack tuna, and mahi-mahi that have been biting this month. This time of the year we are experiencing some light rains in the evening. These light rains also produce incredible fishing conditions right here in the bay. We will be using pitch baits, trolling, jigging bottom fishing, and kite fishing on certain days. If you’re looking for an all-around great spot for a vacation and fishing Nuevo Vallarta has everything to offer. We offer all different kinds of boats. There are many sizes of boats here on our deep sea fishing charters and Bay fishing.

Speaking of offshore fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta in the summertime we catch just about everything. The big tuna, huge marlin, mahi-mahi, and sailfish. Nuevo Vallarta April 2020 fishing report. The last month of March started off with some incredible fishing catching all kinds of small game in the bay and pelagic offshore. As everyone in the world knows the arrival of this virus made us come to a screeching halt after the coronavirus was discovered in China. This virus has affected all parts of the world and will include Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. We know it’s coming.

Coronavirus update

Here in the Nuevo Vallarta there have not been any cases of the Coronavirus as of the writing of this fishing report. With the way the virus is spreading we know that they will be cases here soon. We are taking every precaution that we can and listening to the governmental guidelines keeping are families, friends and clients safe. Everyone knows sooner or later the coronavirus will arrive and we are preparing for it. Here we are praying for everyone’s families here in Mexico and around the world where there have been infected with this virus much more than us.

Fishing report

Normally the fishing in April is fantastic. This coming months is when the water starts to warm up several degrees and much more bait showing up inside the bay and offshore. We start to see how much clearer water and much better fishing conditions in April.

With these rising water temperatures this brings in some of the bigger fish here in the Nuevo Vallarta sport fishing. We are all anxiously awaiting to see what’s going to happen in the month of April in the way of the coronavirus and how soon are boats will be back on the water catching trophy fish. April is one of the months that we use live bait to catch sailfish, Marlin, mahi mahi, and the big yellowfin tuna.

Inshore fishing

When’s spring break rolls around is about the same time all the bait moves in to the bay and we have some incredible fishing here for all different types of fish. There will be a lot of good bay fishing here in the Nuevo Vallarta for folks are coming down with their families. We offer these bay fishing trips for people that don’t want to spend all day on a boat but or just want to go out and have fun and catch some fish. Offshore reports

There’s also fantastic action for some of our offshore fishing. These deep sea fishing trips is where we’re going to be going after some of the big game. ON most days fishing offshore consists of 8 hours of fishing or more. Last year during spring break we had some incredible fishing and I believe this year will be even better. The water temperatures have already moved up a few degrees in some of our favorite fishing spots offshore.

The Nuevo Vallarta fishing report here for January 2019 starts off with a big bang just like all the fireworks that we have for New Year’s here. We had an incredible year for 2019 and 2020 started off with even better fishing numbers and beautiful weather. The fishing is as hot as the weather which is around 75 degrees. Fishing forecast is great to incredible.

Inshore Fishing & Whale-Watching

For the fishermen that are coming down to the Nuevo Vallarta will enjoy beautiful weather, great fishing and seeing the whales along with some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. January is one of the best months to be here for all kind of activities. The bay action started just like the month of December with some fabulous action. All kinds of pelagic fish here in the bay to catch on the shorter trips. Some of our favorite are the rooster fish, mahi mahi also known as Dorado, the great tasting Spanish mackerel along with roosterfish. This time of the year to see some sailfish and the occasional marlin right here inside the bay.

Offshore fishing report

Looking for deep sea fishing offshore here in Nuevo Vallarta. Offshore fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta for January 2020 producing some really fast action with striped Marlin, sailfish, mahi mahi and even a few of the big black and blue marlin. If you’re looking to fish for the marlin, sailfish 8 hours fishing charter is highly recommended although we do catch him on some of the shorter trips.

Big game

For the trophy hunters that are better coming down looking for the big fish then plan on spending 8 hours plus where we’ve been catching fantastic marlin, tuna, sailfish with some really big mahi mahi. The water temperatures are still holding around 80 degrees in this means hot action with the warm water. We’ve been watching satellite pictures that we received each day. This info gives us an idea on where the fish are biting and feeding.

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report for October 2019 is a great one. Mahi-mahi, Marlin, tuna and sailfish will be around for The Fall season. Right here in Nuevo Vallarta Nayarit Mexico. We’re ranked number one for pelagic fishing right here in the Pacific from the Nuevo Vallarta. We started the month out by doing some maintenance on some of the boats getting ready for the winter season. Winter season is the high seas in here and we always have plenty of bait and Plenty of Fish. We have a couple of different companies that we work with that supply our fishing bait. They work all night to make sure we have fresh bait in the morning for all our clients. Tough job but at 2 dollars a bait it’s a fisherman’s dream job.

Offshore fishing

Yesterday was great of towards the north side of Nuevo Vallarta catching some Marlin, sailfish and mahi-mahi. Mixed in there were some Snapper along with roosterfish. October is a great time to be fishing from Nuevo Vallarta. Over on the south side we had one of the smaller boats fishing for roosterfish and mahi – mahi they had fantastic luck. Couple of rooster fish and some nice mahi-mahi for a 6-hour charter. Action is heating up right here in Nuevo Vallarta fishing.
