Nuevo Vallarta fishing report August

Nuevo  Vallarta fishing report starts off with some great catches from the south side of the bay.  We are already seeing some  perfect water temperatures around 83 to 90 degrees. This brings all different kinds of pelagic fish in Mexico for August fishing. When the water temperature gets past 80 degrees is when you start seeing a big fish move into our offshore waters. What can you expect to catch in Nuevo Vallarta this summer?  The offshore fishing is the time of the year we’re catching  sailfish, Marlin, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna. The real question is where the fish will be biting and what do you have to go to catch them. nuevo vallarta fishing report

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report July

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report for the fourth of July. Most of the Anglers coming down to fish in Nuevo Vallarta know July is one of the best months to fish for the big game. We have huge Marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and the most sought-after yellowfin tuna just to mention a few. If you’re looking for a big game action July is the month you want to be here. There is also some fantastic inshore fishing here in our bay.   july fishing in nuevo vallarta
The Nuevo Vallarta rainy season has already started with light rains in the evenings almost every day. Occasionally we’ll have light rains in the morning, but usually, they clear up around early in the morning. Then we have beautiful skies for fishing either inshore or offshore. These rains that we have in the evenings have a couple of effects that really heat up the fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta for the month of July. First and foremost, it brings in all kinds of bait closer which in turn brings in some of the bigger fish following the mullet, sardines, small tunas, and skipjack tunas. This is great because we’ll be doing a lot of four and six-hour trips over the holidays like July 4th. It’s always a big celebration here in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta for July 4th even though it’s traditionally not celebrated in Mexico. What we would like you to celebrate is the Fabulous fishing that we have during our summer months and July is one of the best months to fish here. When you’re coming down for summertime conditions you’ll just have to decide if you want to have some of the incredible Bay fishing or try your hand at going offshore for some of the really big fish that we catch here for the month of July. See our special rates for the fourth of July.  There are several different ways that we fish for the big marlin, tuna, and mahi-mahi. We use pitch baits, kites, lures, and skip baits to bring these fish up in our spreads. We’ll be using some of our favorite nuevo vallarta fishing Julyplaces that we see year in and year out that produce these huge pelagic fish. El Morro is the closest of the places we like to fish it can be done in about 8 hours. One of the world’s best places the Corbetena and it produces some of the biggest fish of the year here. El Banco is another hot spot where we catch some of the winning fish for the tournaments. Happens year after year. The huge pelagic fish live and feed there. The deep-sea fishing trip is 50 miles out and we need a 12 to 14-hour trip to get there and fish. This underground structure is famous as it located in thousands of feet of water, then comes up to a low point of 50 ft. Fishing here is almost for sure you were going to come home with a trophy fish. The fishing spot just happens to be one of our favorite places the fish with 5 to 10 lbs. bait for these huge Marlin. Not uncommon to catch the huge Yellowfin their schooling as well. So this July if you’re looking for a fun time and a great place to fish for the day we got you covered inshore or offshore fishing.
This is Captain Peter Vines and we’re looking forward to seeing you out there on the water for some amazing fishing days here in the month of July.

Nuevo Vallarta fishing

Nuevo Vallarta fishing, what’s happening in Nayarit this summer? This last month we have had more people than in the last few months. I believe this is due to the number of visitors wanting to go deep-sea fishing, the ones that have been vaccinated here and all over the world. Everyone is ready to get out of the house and have some fun. The fantastic news is the fish are biting in Nuevo Vallarta. This always happens when the rainy season starts. Most people that come here think this is a bad thing. ” Rainy season ” But it’s just the opposite. The light rains we have here up until October 15 helps the fishing tremendously. The rain makes the fish move active and we have more hookups. The pelagic fish move into the bay and offshore.    roosterfish in nuevo vallarta
With all the bait moving in the bay and the water temperatures raising it’s normal for our fishing to increase. When fishing here in the summer months the water will be the dark cobalt blue we all love for offshore fishing. The water temperature ( 80 deg. ) Will be all over the map. We will see temperatures reach almost 90 deg. The will also be thermoclines all over the bay holding tuna and other great-eating fish like the mahi-mahi.
This is the time of the year we find these fish schooling all over the bay. They can pop us in an instant in a fishing frenzy.
With these favorable conditions, we start seeing mahi-Mahi, sailfish, marlin, and even nice tuna right here in the bay of flags.
The biggest changes for the last month in Nuevo Vallarta fishing have had to do with covid 19. There are so many people coming and fishing It’s been hard to keep up with them. I recommend emailing us or call our toll-free number ( 800 430 6048 ) before coming down to Nuevo Vallarta Mexico. The good news is we have had very few cases of covid 19 and each day it’s been decreasing.
We operate over 10 fishing vessels, but get so many requests it’s best to book before coming to the fishing grounds.
We most fishermen here being vaccinated, most anglers in the United States and Canada I’m sure we will be fishing every day.
This summer is a fantastic time to come and try your luck at one of the trophy fish we catch daily. The mahi-mahi will be here in full force and is one of the prized fish we catch. This is one of the best eating fish we catch. Most will be caught right here in the bay. The other pelagic fish every angler love to catch is the yellowfin tuna. Also caught right here in the Nuevo Vallarta bay area. The sailfish and marlin are showing up in good numbers. There will be many caught this summer. Imagine having one of the huge fish on the line for several hours of fun and excitement.
We are just getting started here in Nuevo Vallarta fishing for our summer fishing. Let us know when you’re coming down and please let us be a part of your Mexican fishcation. You will be happy you did. Check out what others said about our fishing expertise and boats.
See you out there on the water this summer

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report June

Many thanks to a number of local charter Captains here in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, fishing guides, and other private boats I know, we’re able to bring you regular fishing reports from many areas around the bay and offshore in Nuevo Vallarta. Many of our clients post their own reports on TripAdvisor or our Facebook page. It’s definitely worth checking out for what’s happening right now in and around Nuevo Vallarta., and you can post your own reports, pictures and share information with others. Take a look at Facebook and TripAdvisor.

The June fishing report starts off with the warming of the water inshore and offshore.  I spoke last month about the abundance of baitNuevo Vallarta fishing arriving here in Nuevo Vallarta Mexico.  These conditions will continue throughout the summer months.  The only difference will be the arrival of bigger fish. Some of these pelagic fish include marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and the most sought-after yellowfin tuna.  The huge tunas follow the bait the thermoclines right into the bay but mostly stay offshore.  As of matter of fact, some of them were showing up last month in good numbers.  With the arrival of warm water and so much baitfish, you can easily see why anglers love summertime fishing here in Nuevo Vallarta. There will be numerous families visiting us here in Mexico over the summer months for fishing and what a perfect time to do so.  The bay fishing will be hot as July in El Paso. Now that’s hot!  Hope you will be able to come down and enjoy the hot action and beautiful beaches here in Nuevo Vallarta. Please check our competitive rates before coming down to Nuevo Vallarta.

Offshore fishing will start to see more black marlin and blue marlin.  When the cool water moves out the striped marlin move to the cool water fishing grounds.  Seems like every time one species of fish leave another shows up just in time to keep the fishing interesting here in our part of the neck of the woods.  Along with the huge marlin, the tuna will pop up around the bay and offshore. With the trade winds and local currents, we have you just never know where they will start to feed.  This is one of the main reasons we use the satellite service for checking water temp and water clarity before leaving the dock.  This not only cuts down on the time we have to hunt for the fish it gives our boats an edge up on the other fleet.fishing in Nuevo Vallarta

If you are looking for some fantastic beaches, friendly people, incredible restaurants, and some of the best fishing on the planet come to Nuevo Vallarta fishing this summer. June is when the fishing really starts to get good here in Nuevo Vallarta.

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report for May

Here in Nuevo Vallarta, the fishing is looking up just like the party we had for 5 de Mayo.  What a fun time and even more fun on the water where you are sure to have a great day fishing with us.  We love a good party and Mom’s day is coming up in a few days.  Everyone enjoys catching marlin when on vacation here in Nuevo Vallarta. The stripers are luring around with the water warming up but starting to see some black and blue marlin offshore. When the water get to  78 deg. mark we start seeing loads of these incredible pelagic fish. Most of these are 8 to 10 hrs. Trips. The dorado’s action are still here but not good numbers.  We have been catching some of these fantastic eating fish. They not only fun to catch but can’t be beaten for the grill. With some much bait moving into the bay we will see some hot fishing this summer and coming months.marlin fishing in nuevo vallarta

The bay fishing action has been better than steady. There have been incredible fishing for yellowtail and those fish have been plentiful. Some days we have caught them on the surface feeding.   A few days fishermen had to stop because the action was so consistent. Some days they started feeding and would not stop. The perfect conditions are just right and there are still plenty of baitfish here it always keeps them around for a while longer here in Nuevo Vallarta.
The Spanish mackerel, California Bonita, and snapper have kept the inshore folks happy and the chefs happy as well. Who doesn’t like some grilled snapper? The water temperatures are on the rise and will be until the rainy season hits this June. Then the real fun starts. nuevo vallarta fishing
Until then we will just have to be happy with sailfish and marlin offshore. Along with this superb inshore fishing we are having this is enough to keep all anglers happy.  We have some of the best prices in all of Mexico.
Hope to see everyone out there on the water here in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta where some of the best fishing happens in Mexico

Nuevo Vallarta fishing report April

In Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico when April comes around most people are thinking about Easter and why not. Nuevo Vallarta has so much going on this time of the year. So many changes and celebrations around the bay area. Take a look at our TRIPADVISOR REVIEWS FOR WHAT PEOPLE SAID LAST MONTH ABOUT US.april fishing report for nuevo vallarta
In April the waters begin to warm and the fish start moving into the Puerto Vallarta bay as well as offshore. We will see several changes with our Puerto Vallarta fishing grounds. Not only will the water temperature be moving up, but will start seeing more schools of fish. This means one important factor for the Nuevo Vallarta angler. Great fishing.

nuevo valarta fishing report

This happens almost in spring.  Just about the time Easter happens.
What can I expect to catch? With the warming of the water the sailfish, marlin, and Mahi – Mahi will be more active. There will be plenty of fish to go around. Some will be offshore and some pelagic species will be inshore. For prices for the inshore and offshore click here.  We get all kinds of questions during the month of April. The most common question is where we will fish.  I have a good idea with my 35 years of experience, but the darn fish keep moving around.  We use many factors in picking the fishing grounds here and around Nuevo Vallarta fishing.

There are many factors that make the fish move from one place to another. The main reason fish move around is to find the bait and eat. If you can consistently find the bait this is where the fish will be feeding. This will keep you on top of the fish and all the rods screaming on the boat. The other reason these fish move around is the water temperature. Too hot or too cold the fish will be o the move like a pack of nomads. We check water temperatures before we even leave the dock. The other factor that most people don’t think about is water clarity. I pay a yearly online fee for all our boats to have this kind of info on the boats. It’s called Terrifin app.  and works beautifully. This is a fee we pay each month for this information that comes from the satellites.
This information helps us find where the fish were biting, the day prior that you fish with this, the water clarity, the water temperatures, and of course the bait moving. These are the most important factors in catching fish. We always put our clients on the fish here in beautiful Nuevo Vallarta Mexico.  catching tuna in nuevo vallarta
For a great charter in April give us a call (800 4306048) or send us an email (nuevovallartafishing@hotmail.com) and let us know how many people are in your group when you becoming down so we can set up a special Fishing charter for you and your family.
